Yanapuma has worked out agreements with a number of organizations in the health field to receive our students to carry out a practicum. These range from large urban hospitals to small rural clinics and other centers that include traditional and modern medicine. Many are under-funded, under-equipped and under-staffed, and we are committed to trying to help these vitally important organizations to carry out their work as best they can.
Thus, as a student on our Medical Program you can make a significant contribution to their work with your skills and committment. We also include a $200 donation to the center in the cost of the course, and we encourage you to try to raise more funds or bring basic supplies to help them out. Please email us if you have questions about a particular organization and its needs.
